Training classes for facilitators are usually held twice a year in Spring and Fall.
The dates for the Spring, 2012, Facilitator Training are as follows.

CCP's 28-hour volunteer training program is comprehensive and challenging. It is recognized by our human services community as superior. Training includes lectures, large and small group discussions, role-playing, evaluations, "hands-on" apprenticeships, and other activities designed to help volunteers be top-notch facilitators.

Fees
LAVORP volunteers pay a $95 fee for mediation training. (scholarships available)
Background checks
We also ask applicants to pay for and obtain criminal and child abuse background checks costing $10.00 each.

After we receive the form, someone from the CCP office will contact you to arrange an interview to discuss how you can become involved in giving back to your community as a Volunteer Facilitator
